Pro Motion 6.0

Since it weighs in at less than 6MB, you will not even notice when the Pro Motion download completes. I mean on a high-speed internet connection, downloading 6MB completes in a flash – which to my mind is very nice. I always like it when I don’t have to wait forever for a download to complete.

Once the software has been downloaded, the next logical step is to install it. In this regard you’ll be glad to know that the installation process goes along just as smooth and fast as the download. You will also be glad to know that Pro Motion can be installed on pretty much any version of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system.

Okay, so it downloads and installs smoothly and it works with any Windows version. What is Pro Motion and what can it do? Pro Motion is a bitmap editor and animation package. You can use this software application to come up with icons or images used in games, to come up with pixel precise animations. To put it bluntly, it is a properly good tool for creating images and animations on pixel level.

All the functionality provided by Pro Motion does not come free of charge though. You can use the application free of charge, but only for a 30-day trial period. Once this trial period expires, you will have to part with some money to get a license if you want to keep using Pro Motion. During the trial period, you have to contend with a few limitations. For example you cannot export via Windows clipboard because the trial version will not let you. You cannot save an animation as a single image, you cannot save an image you created unless it is unde 0.5Mpixels, and you cannot save an animation unless it is under 10000 pixels per Frame. Furthermore, plugin execution is delayed for a few seconds.
